Crane and off road tyre supplier Magna Tyres is introducing a new crane tyre range at Bauma next month: the M-crane range for mobile cranes.
The range includes two sizes: the 445mm wide 445/95R25 and the narrower 385/95R25. The larger tyre has a load/speed index of 178F, meaning it can carry 7,500kg at speeds up to 80kmh, while the smaller tyre's 170F rating allows it to carry 6,000kg at the same speed.

The tyres incorporate a three layer Pagoda Crown Belt and semi-closed shoulder design. Features include belt wrap durability, groove stress reduction, and reinforced sidewalls. The compound formula is designed to manage heat generation and provide tensile and tear strength.
Commercial director Hein de Wind said: “Operators today are looking for tyres that last longer perform better and reduce costs. The M-crane is designed for the future, it's the most reliable strongest most efficient and most cost effective choice on the market today."
