Barnhart acquires two more locations

US crane and rigging company Barnhart has acquired two branches of Crane Service Inc, from ML Holdings, one in El Paso, Texas and the other in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Both locations offer crane rental, industrial machine moving, transportation and rigging services and include 45 employees. The El Paso branch is Barnhart's second location in Texas, alongside its Houston operation. The Albuquerque location will merge with Barnhart's existing branch in the city, which it acquired last August through the purchase of Mountain States Crane.
Barnhart has facilities in 60 locations in N.America

Barnhart regional director Chase Reynolds said: "Since its founding in 1960, Crane Service Inc. has built a solid reputation in the crane, rigging, and transportation industry by prioritising safety and exceeding customers' expectations. They are recognised throughout the industry for having skilled and experienced operators and riggers, along with a well-maintained and comprehensive fleet of equipment. The addition of these two branches allows us to further expand our services throughout the Southwest and complements our existing branches."

Dave Matz, ML Holdings president added: "When ML Holdings/Crane Service decided to transition our Albuquerque and El Paso crane branches, we knew there was only one call to make. Barnhart has a sterling reputation in the industry, and we had confidence our employees would thrive there. While we're sad to see some of our team leave us, we're excited to continue to our shift to larger and more mobile assets dedicated to the energy industry."
