300 tonne crane bursts into flames

A 300 tonne Grove crane owned by Paramount Transport and Trading Company in San Fernando, burst into flames yesterday while travelling between jobs in Trinidad and Tobago.

Motorists cautiously drove past the partially burnt crane which caught fire on the Solomon Hochoy Highway yesterday.
The 56-year-old driver escaped unhurt.
