Colombian office for Manitowoc

Manitowoc Cranes, owner of the Potain, Grove and National Crane brands, has opened a new customer support office in Cajicá, Colombia, nine miles to the north of Bogotá.

The facility already has a significant stock of replacement parts and components and is being staffed to provide a full after sales support to crane owners, including training. It follows the opening of a similar facility in Lima, Peru, around 18 months ago, and joins other operations in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Santiago in Chile, and Monterrey, Mexico. The team includes regional business manager Carlos Casallas, sales rep Cesar Varon and field service technicians Rafael Hernandez and Edwin Salazar.
