The six axle, single engine crane includes features such as Ecomode, Ecodrive, VarioBallast and the updated VarioBase Plus outrigger set up system which features a wider more variable rear outrigger spread - up to 9.4 metres - as well as Auto-Ballast. Maximum counterweight is 88 tonnes and is designed to provide the maximum number of transport configurations. It can operate with eight tonnes less counterweight than the LTM1300-6.2 without compromising capacities.

The crane has already completed its first job, dismantling a tower crane in Osnabrück, where it lifted components weighing up to 9.2 tonnes at a 42 metre radius. The VarioBase system allowed the work to be carried out with a single lane road closure.

Managing director Philipp Spallek said: "The 90 metre telescopic boom can be carried on the road with an axle load of 12 tonnes and this makes it unique in its class. The purchase of the LTM 1300-6.3, is already helping us carry out work involving the handfling of significantly higher loads and lifting heights of up to 110 metres."
