Italian low level aerial lift manufacturer Gromet/Axolift has appointed Gemini as its distributor for India. The agreement, which was finalised and signed during Bauma - includes distribution rights for the country along with plans for local assembly and possibly future manufacturing.

Gemini Power Hydraulics was established in 2000, and is based in Deonar, a southern suburb of Mumbai. The company specialises in industrial equipment and hydraulic solutions, with a product range that includes aerial work platforms distribution for Haulotte, Jekko, Almac and Palazzani, as well as GinJoe underbridge inspection platforms. Other products include material handling equipment, and hydraulic tools. The comapny also provides maintenance and onsite services across India, primarily serving the energy, manufacturing, rail and utility sectors.
Axolift chief executive Massimo Grossele said: "We are extremely pleased to have started this important collaboration with the Sethi family. The Indian market is vast and will only continue to grow in significance over the coming decades."
Gemini's Rajiv Sethi added: "We are proud of this partnership. We strongly believe in the tremendous potential of the Indian market and in the opportunities this collaboration with Gromet and Axolift will create, both for the distribution of Axolift products in India and for the supply of high quality components to the factory in Italy."
