Axolift moves into Spain

Axolift has appointed Svelt España as its official distributor for Spain. The agreement was finalised at Bauma with the first Manulift machines scheduled for delivery later this month to Svelt’s facility in Oviedo, Northern Spain.

Svelt was established in 1964 and is based in Bagnatica, Northern Italy. It is primarily a manufacturer for ladders (wood, aluminium, steel and fibreglass), scaffolding, material lifts, push around work platforms and mast lifts. It also has facilities in Ireland, Amsterdam, France, Spain, Romania, Ukraine and Moldova.

The agreement was signed at Bauma between Javier Urraburu of Svelt (L) and Massimo Grossele of Axolift

Axolift chief executive Massimo Grossele said: “Svelt Spain is a solid and well established company with many years of experience in selling low level access products in the Spanish market. We are very pleased with this collaboration, which perfectly aligns with our strategy to build and strengthen a solid sales network across Europe.
