Manitowoc’s operation in Australia, which covers Grove, Potain, National Crane and Shuttlelift has moved into new workshops and offices, in Seven Hills, on the western edge of Sydney. The facility provides more space and updated equipment to increase customer support, repairs and rebuilds.
Then ew facility
The 20,000 square metre facility is more than double that of the old facility with increased office, workshop, and parts storage space. The additional space will allow it to offer the manufacturer’s EnCore crane refurbishment service and training centre, along with more yard space. The company is recruiting additional staff for its service, parts and training operations.
A meeting/training room
General manager John Stewart said: “Our new facility will allow us to better serve customers by improving service and repair capabilities, increasing parts availability, and offering more efficient training and testing spaces. We are excited to see our aftersales team grow as we expand our capacity to support both new and used equipment, making it easier for our customers to receive high quality service for all their equipment needs."
Paul Churchill, director of aftersales added: “This expansion is critical to supporting our growth targets in the aftersales side of the business. We are positioning ourselves to meet growing market demands with more products and better service offerings, making it easier for our customers to maintain and repair their cranes efficiently.”
