AMH marks 22 years

US lifting chain and chain hoist supplier All Material Handling (AMH) is celebrating its 22nd anniversary this month.

Founded in Chicago in 2003 by Peter Brettner, the company now operates from five locations, with service centres in Houston -Texas, Des Moines - Iowa, Atlanta- Georgia and Portland - Oregon.

The company specialises in rigging and lifting equipment, with its product line including hand and lever hoists from 750kg to 30 tonnes. AMH is also the exclusive North American distributor for Italy's Cartec lifting accessories.

Chief executive Peter Brettner said: "From the beginning, we understood that customer service had to be more than just a phrase in a brochure - it had to drive everything we do.”

The company's product range includes stainless steel chains and fittings for specialist applications in pharmaceutical, food processing and marine industries, alongside wire rope fittings, synthetic slings, hoist rings and lifting clamps.
