Dutch financial services provider De Lage Landen International (DLL) and commercial vehicle manufacturer Iveco have entered into a joint venture to improve access to low and zero-emission commercial vehicles.
The partnership will see DLL acquire a 51 percent stake in Iveco's Green & Advanced Transport Ecosystem (GATE) subsidiary, with Iveco retain the balance.

DLL chief executive Lara Yocarini said: “One of DLL's goals is to be a transformation partner for a better world. We are serious about our drive turnaround strategy, which focuses on working with partners and customers to help them decarbonise by financing sustainable, more cost effective and future proof assets, including through rental solutions.”
Iveco’s financial services president Simone Olivati added: "We are excited about the opportunities that this collaboration will bring and look forward to the positive impact it will have on our business and the future of sustainable mobility."
The joint venture plans to expand to additional countries where both companies already operate and eventually offer financing solutions for other vehicle brands.
