450 tonner for Vernazza

Italian rental company Vernazza Autogru has taken delivery of a new 450 tonne Tadano AC 7.450-1 All Terrain crane, prior to delivery the unit was displayed on the Tadano stand at bauma last month. The company has also placed orders for three additional Tadano All Terrains – a 300 tonne AC 6.300-1, an 80 tonne AC 4.080-1, and a 70 tonne AC 4.070-2.

The seven axle AC 7.450-1 features a seven section 80 metre main boom and can also be equipped with extensions up to 59 metres for a 130 metre tip height, 56 metres of combined extension and fixed offset jib for a 133 metre tip height, or an 81metre luffing jib and the enhanced SSL Sideways Superlift system for a similar tip height. Maximum counterweight is 150 tonnes.

The chassis has all wheel steer with four drive axles and can travel with a boom, hook block and rigging on board within 12 tonne axle loads. Adding the Superlift where 16.5 tonnes is permitted. The overall length on the road is 17.6 metres.

Established in 1946, Vernazza Autogru has a fleet of more than 200 cranes, aerial lifts, forklifts and delivery vehicles operating from locations in Genoa, Milan, Savona and Massa.
