Austrian power supplier Wien Energie has taken its first 22 metre Bluelift SA22 spider lift. The platform will support the company's infrastructure, maintenance and renewable energy projects.

Wien Energie takes delivery of the unit

The unit is powered by Lithium-ion batteries and offers a working height of 22 metres, an outreach of 10.5 metres at an up & over height of 8.5 metres. Fitted with a 1kV bucket, it has a maximum platform capacity of 230kg. The unit also feature the company’s asymmetric stability system, which automatically calculates the outrigger set-up to determine the working diagram.

A Bluelift SA22

Wien Energie is Austria's largest regional energy supplier and a subsidiary of Wiener Stadtwerke. The company serves two million customers across electricity, heating, cooling, electromobility and telecommunications services.

The spider lift will support maintenance work on Wien Energie's existing infrastructure while also facilitating the company's renewable energy expansion programme. The electric power source is said to align with Wien Energie's environmental commitments.
