New branch for HVS

German rental company HVS Hubarbeitsbühnen will open a new branch in Bramsche, north west Germany, and has taken delivery of 24 Snorkel aerial work platforms from distributor Ahern Deutschland.

The new units include 13ft S3013M mini scissors, along with several 19ft S3219P slab electric scissor lifts. The facility - the company’s second - is scheduled to open on 1st July and will be manned by six additional employees. The company says it has taken delivery of 80 new platforms for the facility in total, and will also purchase some telehandlers for the location.
The Snorkel hand over

HVS managing director Markus Sturhahn said: "The quality and reliability of the Snorkel machines along with the service and support from Ahern made the choice of product for our new branch in Bramsche and easy one. We already run several Snorkel machines from our location in Steinhagen. Both the price and the quality of the machines speak for themselves. In our opinion, the S3013 Mini’s are the best lightweight machines with the greatest performance currently available on the market. Thank you very much for the many years of particularly good cooperation."

HVS Hubarbeitsbühnen is based in Steinhagen, near Bielefeld, north west of Dortmund. The company was founded by Friedel Sturhahn in 1996 working as a self-employed with one machine. He quickly made a name for himself as one of the first aerial work platform rental companies in the area, and within the first six months had an employee and a dozen platforms. The company now runs a fleet of around 500 units along with telehandlers, fork lifts and truck mounted lifts up to 26 metres, with a team of 25 employees.
