French aerial lift manufacturer Haulotte held a customer event at its UK facility last week to mark its 40th anniversary.
A tour of the facility was included for all attendees
Customers and suppliers attended from across the UK to visit the facility, view the latest platform demonstrations and learn about technology developments, including the Fastn harness attachment safety system and Sherpal telematics for fleet management.
Haulotte’s Europe & Africa marketing manager Ludivine Beraud, demonstrated the Fastn which can be installed on any brand of lift, and said: “sales of the system in the UK have been very good”.

Beraud also demonstrated the Pulseo range of all electric work platforms, including the 53ft HS18E Rough Terrain scissor lift with 'Range Extender' engine option, and announced that two brand new models will join the Pulsio range and make their debut at Vertikal Days in September.

During the event, Access Platforms Aberdeen (APA) purchased two Haulotte HA20 RTJ Pro Rough Terrain articulated boom lifts, adding to the company's 380 strong platform fleet. APA is marking its 20th anniversary this year.
A tribute to the late Ged Kelly, former Haulotte employee, greeted customers on arrival
Marina Robardey, customer leader for telematics at Haulotte in France, presented developments to the Sherpal fleet management system and conducted meetings with rental fleet customers over a traditional English lunch of fish and chips .
