German construction and furniture joiner Bau und Möbelschreinerei Sühlfleisch has taken delivery of an 18 metre Platform Basket 18.95 tracked spider lift from distributor Kunze.
The new unit arrives on site
The 18.95 has a maximum working height of 17.6 metres, a maximum outreach of 9.5 metres at an up & over height of five metres with 80kg in the basket, while the maximum platform capacity of 230kg is available at up to 7.2 metres outreach. When stowed, the lift has an overall width of 780mm and is 1.9 metres high, with an overall length of 5.22 metre with basket in place or 4.53 metres when removed. Power options include Honda petrol, Kubota diesel, or an electric motor with either lead acid or lithium-ion battery.
Managing director Charly Kunze said: "The 18.95 is perfect for the diverse applications that we encounter, and is nice and compact for transport, while haveing a strong performance. And being able to make a personal delivery is always a nice opportunity for me to get out and maintain direct contact with our customers."
Sühlfleisch was founded in 2004 and is based in Bad Rodach in central Germany, it specialises in bespoke solutions for buildings, including awnings, shutters, and garden structures supported by a team of eight employees. The company plans to further expand its range of access capabilities with the new spider liftinitially for the projects it installs, but is also considering offering its equipment for rent to other contractors in the immediate area.
