Italian spider lift manufacturer Easy Lift has appointed Finland's Simeri Oy as its distributor for the Nordic region, marking an expansion into Northern European markets.

The partnership which was sparked by an initial discussion at the end of last year, has since resulted in to appointment and a number of new machine deliveries for stock, with the first 16 metre R160 spider lift already sold to to rental company Vatupassi, while a shy 'Finnish construction company' took a second R160 and Royal Caribbean Cruises have purchased as 21 metre R210BA.

Founded in 1995, Simeri operates from nine locations across Finland with more than 50 employees. The company, part of the Finnsiirto Group, provides sales, rental, maintenance and inspection services for aerial work platforms.The partnership includes training support from Easy Lift for Simeri's sales and after sales personnel.
With operations in Estonia, Simeri plans to promote Easy Lift spiders in the Estonian market following its initial focus on Finland.
