UK based AFI Rentals has purchased more than 500 aerial work platforms from the administrators of Quick Reach, which are currently being sold via a number of SIA online auctions, the latest of which includes units from the Glasgow depot which is due to close next Friday - Click here for the catalogue.

Some of machines AFI has bought will go into the AFI rental fleet, while others will be added to the AJ Access Platforms used equipment inventory and sold on. The acquisition includes machines from JLG, Genie, Dingli, Skyjack, Niftylift, Haulotte, Manitou and JCB.
AFI chief executive David McNicholas said: "The addition of these machines will support the ongoing growth of our rental and resale businesses. In particular, the fleet additions provide an extended number and range of booms and scissors to support our customers."
