Indian maritime company Green Energy Resources has ordered two 154 tonne Liebherr LHM 550 electric mobile harbour cranes for deployment at berth EQ1A in Visakhapatnam, eastern India.

Two 154 tonne Liebherr LHM 550 electric mobile harbour cranes on a dship vessel

The LHM 550 offers a lifting capacity of 154 tonnes at a radius of 54 metres. It also features Liebherr's SmartGrab, intelligent system that optimises grab filling rates in a self learning manner, helping increase the fill rate, while avoiding overloads.

The company has operated at Vizag Port for 13 years, handling around 3.5 million tonnes of bulk cargo annually for industrial clients through its dedicated berth facility.
