Barin for Construtora Unitecnica

Brazilian contractor Construtora Unitecnica has taken delivery of a Barin ABC 70/L truck mounted underbridge inspection platform, mounted on a two axle VW Delivery 11.180 4x2 chassis.

The ABC70L can clear pedestrian sidewalks up to 1.7 metres wide and 2.2 metre high bridge wind/sound barrier and then reach five metres below deck level. The seven metre long, one metre wide platform rotates a full 180 degrees, and offers a maximum capacity of 350kg. The truck mounted platform has an all up weight of 5,700kg and takes up no more than a 2.2 metre width, thus only taking up a single traffic lane.

Founded in September 2006 Construtora Unitecnica is based on the north side of Tietê - north west of São Paulo. Its work includes civils construction, building, converting, repairing and, maintaining the region’s infrastructure, including bridges and roads.
