Barin for Construtora Unitecnica
Brazilian contractor Construtora Unitecnica has taken delivery of a Barin ABC 70/L truck mounted underbridge inspection platform, mounted on a two axle VW Delivery 11.180 4x2 chassis.

The ABC70L can clear pedestrian sidewalks up to 1.7 metres wide and 2.2 metre high bridge wind/sound barrier and then reach five metres below deck level. The seven metre long, one metre wide platform rotates a full 180 degrees, and offers a maximum capacity of 350kg. The truck mounted platform has an all up weight of 5,700kg and takes up no more than a 2.2 metre width, thus only taking up a single traffic lane.

Really? these were the ones supplied by Barin and they looked like the machine in the article - and in fact the company name is on the side - Unless they were completely wrong and one of the team swapped them out earlier- either way many thanks for flagging the issue
