Irish rental company East Cork Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 300 tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 All Terrain, the company's 100th Liebherr mobile crane having purchased its first, a 90 tonne LTM 1090/2, in 1997.
The six axle, single engine crane features an eight section, 90 metre main boom topped by an 11.5 to 20 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, to which two seven metre inserts can be added between the boom nose and swingaway for a tip height of 121 metres.Other features include the Variobase Plus outrigger set up system which offers a wider more variable rear outrigger spread - up to 9.4 metres - as well as Auto-Ballast. Maximum counterweight is 88 tonnes, with multiple load charts to provide the maximum number of travel configurations.
The new LTM 1300-6.3
East Cork's recent Liebherr fleet additions include a 450 tonne LTM 1450-8.1, a 650 tonne LTM 1650-8.1 and a 750 tonne LTM 1750-9.1. The company has also taken delivery of an eight tonne MK 140-5.1 mobile self-erecting tower crane this year, with a 40 tonne LTM 1040-2.1, 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1 and 110 tonne LTM 1110-5.1 scheduled for delivery later this year.

Established in 1987, family run East Cork Crane Hire was founded by Tom and Catherine Kelleher and is now run by Aidan Kelleher. The company runs a crane fleet ranging from a 13 to 800 tonnes.
