More Skyjacks for GTAccess

UK rental company GTAccess has taken delivery of six 16ft Skyjack SJ16s mast lifts as well as a 32ft SJ6832 and a 26ft SJ6826 compact Rough Terrain scissor lifts.

The SJ16s have an overall width of 770mm, a length of 1.37 metres and a stowed height of 1.79 metres with a working height of 6.68 metres. The units weigh 966kg respectively.

The SJ6832 offers a maximum working height of 11.58 metres and a platform capacity of 454kg while the SJ6826 has a maximum working height of 9.75 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 567kg.

GTAccess said: “It’s like Christmas has come early! Yesterday we took delivery of six brand new SJ16's a SJ6832 and a SJ6826 - the diesel scissors are already booked but we still have a few of the SJ16s without bookings.”

GTAccess can trace its roots in the access business back more than 40 years, based in the English Midlands it operates from 12 locations with 152 staff running a fleet of more than 3,000 platforms across the midlands, south east England and south Wales. It is also a member of the Access Alliance of independently owned regional access rental companies and an IPAF accredited training provider.

Harry, looking at the slab scissors behind, they don't seem much better- just 1 strap in the middle ? Nothing on any of the tie down points anywhere.

I’m curious as to why the 2 rough terrain scissors are lashed with straps, not chains and why the straps go over the wheels instead of using the lashing points.
