New Grove dealer in Oman

Manitowoc has appointed Majan Equipment and Services, as the Grove crane distributor for Oman.

The first Grove crane to arrive at Majan’ s yard was a 55 tonne four axle TMC550 truck mounted crane manufactured for Manitowoc by Liugong under the company’s OEM partnership programme. Rated at three metres, it features a 45 metre five section boom topped by a 16 metre bifold swingaway extension for a 62 metre maximum tip height. The maximum radius on the main boom is 36 metres at which point it can handle 1,200kg. Three more 55 tonne units are due to arrive shortly

Majan Equipment is a subsidiary of Muscat Overseas group, which was set up in 1975, it established the equipment business in 1998, to offer power generation products, material handling equipment, aerial work platforms, cranes, port handling and industrial equipment along with sweepers & compactors for sale or rent.
When it comes to aerial work platforms, Majan offers, machines from Niftylift, Skyjack, JCB and Falcon spiders as well as Faraone’s Elevah low level models.

The company will provide a full suite of customer support functions, including operator training, spare parts, and after sales service.
