Kranlyft Germany, has taken over the distribution - both sales and technical service - of glass handling robots and devices made by Danish manufacturer Smart Group in several areas of the country.
Based in Sonneberg - between Nuremberg and Leipzig, Kranlyft Germany says that its territory extends from the north of the A2 motorway that runs between Hanover and Berlin and the area in southern Germany that includes the regions around Munich, Lake Constance, Passau, and the border triangle with Austria and Switzerland.

The rest of Germany will continue to be handled by Hohenaspe based Meytek, represented by Olaf and Henning Meyer. Kranlyft and Meytek have said that they will work closely together to ensure comprehensive support and maximise the synergies that exist between the two companies.
Kranlyft sales manager Roland Ritzensteiger said: "We are very pleased about the cooperation with Smart group. The company's innovative products ideally complement our portfolio. With our experienced service technicians and our strong presence in Germany, we ensure that our customers receive optimal support."
Note Smart Group is not the same company as Danish glass handing robot manufacturer Smartlift, which has its own distribution subsidiary in Germany.
