Fassi crane operator challenge

UK based Mac's Trucks will host a crane operator challenge on 6th September at its Huddersfield facility with the first Fassi F905 and F1050 loader /knuckle boom cranes in the UK.

The event includes three qualifying challenges, and a grand final designed to simulate field conditions with tight turns, obstacles and time constraints. Around 50 operators from across the UK are expected to come along and compete for the title of Mac's Crane Operator of the year and a £1,000 cash prize.

Mac's Trucks units arethe world's first with serial number plates 0001 and 0002, as the first dealer to install them on chssis and complete them. The company currently has 10 F905s in build along with two F1050s. An F905 will also feature on the Mac's Truck stand at Vertikal Days from September 10th.

Mac's technical director Andrew Hall said: "As the biggest Fassi installer in Europe and thanks to our close collaboration with Fassi, we were the first dealer to receive the new F905/F1050's. Being even smoother and more accurate than previous Fassi cranes, any participants in the competition will find the Techno range an absolute dream to use."
