Ruthmann for Austrian utility

Austrian utility company Elektrizitätswerk Fernitz has taken delivery of a 27 metre Ruthmann Steiger TB 270 Pro truck mounted platform.

The new TB 270

Mounted on a 3.5 tonne chassis, the TB 270 Pro offers an outreach of 18.1 metres with an unrestricted platform capacity of 100kg, while the maximum platform capacity of 250kg is available at up to 13 metres of outreach. The unit will support the company's electrical infrastructure maintenance and installation work across its service territory in the Fernitz region in Southern Austria.

Elektrizitätswerk Fernitz was established in 1907 when founder Franz Purkarthofer built a hydroelectric power plant in Fernitz at the age of 20. The company now supplies electrical energy across 55 kilometres covering five municipalities with approximately 16,400 inhabitants.
