German lattice and telescopic boom and jib manufacturer and fabricator Gothaer Fahrzeugtechnik (GFT) has launched a repair and reconditioning service.

The service includes damage analysis, either on site or at GFT's facility in central Germany, followed by full repair proposal prior to going ahead with the work. Minor repairs can also be carried out by mobile teams on site. The company also offers a boom modificaiton service.

GFT was established more than 30 years ago at its current location in Gotha, Thuringia,. and today manufactures individual sections or complete booms, extensions and jibs, in high strength steels, as well as offering a whole range of welding and cutting services alongside a certified and approved welding and fabrication training centre. The company employs 350 people across Germany, including 200 certified welders.
