Italian crane manufacturer Jekko has partnered with Center Construction Robotics (CCR), a research hub within the 'Construction Cluster' at RWTH Aachen Campus in Western Germany.

The collaboration began last new[45371](January with the Maxx project), which focuses on digitalisation and automation in construction. The Maxx – Mobile Assembly X-System was demonstrated at Bauma, where irt won the Innovation Award in the Research category.It was developed by CCR with the German Government and industry partners including Jekko, KUKA, and Fundermax.

As a research partner, Jekko will work alongside CCR to address industry challenges including material reuse, digitalisation, and automation, developing solutions for the construction market.
