German rental company Luibl Rental is constructing a new facility in Weißenfels near Leipzig to serve as its Eastern German headquarters, scheduled for completion by end 2027 or early 2028.
The site will include a modern logistics hall and a workshop with an overhead crane which will accompany an existing office building. The facility is located near the Leipzig metropolitan region with visibility from the A9 highway. It will accommodate up to 50 employees across dispatch, sales, technical support and service operations while functioning as a regional distribution hub. The company says that the new facility forms part of its strategy of being closer to its regional customers.
Work begins at the new site
The new facility will add to Luibl's existing Southern hub in Schillingsfürst at the Crailsheim/Feuchtwangen highway interchange (A6/A7), which serves as its central facility for Southern Germany operations.
Founded in 2013 and based in Passau on the Austrian border, Luibl runs a substantial fleet of telehandlers, forklifts, aerial work platforms and general construction equipment throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland, Belgium and the Netherlands.
