French rental group Loxam has acquired Italian rental company Toscana Noleggi from founder, chief executive and owner Paolo Bacherini.
Toscana Noleggi is based in Florence and was established in 2000, since then it has largely focused on the powered access rental market in central Italy, with a fleet of around 450 aerial work platforms including booms and scissor lifts of all sizes, spider lifts and truck mounted lifts, as well as telehandlers – both fixed frame and 360 degree models. It also runs spider cranes and a few Rough Terrain cranes, across its three branches in Tuscany two - Campi Bisenzio and Scandicci in the Florence area plus Massa on Tuscany’s west coast north of Livorno, with a total of 20 employees.

The deal will take the depot network of Loxam’s Italian business ‘Loxam Access’ to 21 locations
