Skyjack has launched the 45ft SJ5545 E electric drive slab electric scissor lift, its largest so far.
The overall width is just under 1.4 metres, with a 15.5 metre working height and a maximum platform capacity of 350kg evenly distributed, with drive at full height and an outdoor rating of two people at 12.5 metres a second at up to an 8.7 metre working height.
The SJ5545E has a new scissor stack design with fully welded cross bracing that increases rigidity and improves rigidity at height. The unit also features a 900mm roll out deck extension, while the guardrails fold to an overall height of just over two metres for passing below overhead obstacles and transport.
Head of product management Corey Connolly said: “The Skyjack team designs our innovative machines to maximise uptime. The new SJ5545 E has proven, easy to understand control systems, with an onboard digital diagnostics display that allows operators to see real time, simple language readouts, and load sensing information. No plug in calibration is necessary for day to day troubleshooting, all major service points are easily accessible, and common parts across our slab scissor range make for straightforward maintenance and repairs. Additionally, Skyjack’s ECO mark supports customers by outlining the environmental performance and long-term sustainability of our machines.”
The SJ5545 E is available now in both North America and Europe.
President Charlie Patterson added: “Skyjack machines are known for reliability, durability, and serviceability. Our new slab scissor provides a simple, quality, and environmentally friendly choice for rental at our highest working height. We are thrilled to see our simply electric E-Drive scissor line continue to grow.”
