Klaas K2500 for FrankenLift

German rental company AVS FrankenLift has taken delivery of a nine tonne Klaas K2500 truck mounted crane.

The K2500 features a four section 37 metre main boom topped by a five section telescopic jib for a maximum tip height of almost 59 metres at which point it can handle 500kg. It can also take one tonne to a radius of 36 metres at a height of 26.5 metres, while at its maximum radius of 45.5 metres, it can handle 500kg at a height of 20 metres.

AVS FrankenLift managing director Georg Winkelmann said: "With this crane, we offer our customers maximum flexibility and state of the art technology - exactly what counts on the construction site of today."

Founded in 2010 in Nuremberg, the company runs a fleet of trailer lifts, truck mounts, scissor lifts as well as articulated and telescopic boom lifts. It is also a member of SystemLift whose members have a total of 22,000 platforms between them, avaialble from 135 locations.
