UK company SPS Roofing has taken delivery of a 21 metre Easy Lift RA21 spider lift.
The RA21 – launched at Bauma earlier this year was supplied through UK distributor Independent Access Sales, it feature two long sigma risers topped by a three section boom and 1.8 metre jib with 90 degrees of articulation, providing a maximum working height of 20.4 metres, while the maximum outreach is almost 10 metres at an up & over height of nine metres with the unrestricted platform capacity of 230kg. Platform rotation is 160 degrees.

The new machine uses thin wall Strenx high strength steel in order to reduce the overall weight while maintaining structural integrity and rigidity, with critical hoses and cables all routed internally.It has an overall stowed length of 4.5 metres and a retracted width of 860mm - with the basket detached. The outrigger footprint is 2.9 metres square, while the total weight is 2,850kg.

Nick Flavin said: ‘’The performance of the RA21 with the ability to swap the basket for a winch with a 230kg lift capacity throughout the working envelope won the day for us.’’
Independent Access Sales managing director Richard Martin added: “We are delighted with the itinal response to this machine and the sales levels achieved so far.”
Established in the mid 1990s, family owned and managed SPS Roofing is based in Exeter in Devon and works all over the South West of England, carry out all types of roofing installation and repair as well as gutter, facia and soffit instalation and replacement. This is at least the third Easy Lift spider lift in the SPS fleet, joining an 18 metre R180 and a 12 metre R130. The company also rents them to other companies, but always with an operator.
