Indian rental company Mtandt Group has taken delivery of 51 units of the 38ft Snorkel A38E all electric articulated boom lift.

The AB38E offers a working height of 13.5 metres, up to 6.1 metres of outreach with an up & over height of 5.4 metres, and a platform capacity of 215kg. Overall width is 1.5 metres and total weight 3.8 tonnes. The new platforms are aimed at work for logistics, manufacturing, and urban development projects throughout the country.
Chairman Rakesh Modi said: "As India drives forward with smart cities and green infrastructure, we are aligning our offerings to meet the demand for cleaner, safer, and more efficient access equipment."
Based in Chennai, Mtandt, was established just over 50 years ago, its sales division distributes Falcon, CMC and teupen spider lifts as well as Dingli aerial lifts. It also sells, rents and manufactures scaffold, safety nets and temporary road mats. The company has been growing at a rapid pace over the past year or two and late last year announced a further investment in the business to step this up over the next five years. It currently operates from locations in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi NCR as well as Colombo in Sri Lanka and Qatar in the Middle East.
