Lauwereys to distribute GSR

Italian truck mounted lift manufacturer GSR has appointed Belgian rental company Lauwereys as its official dealer in Belgium.

Based in Ranst, east of Antwerp, and dating back to the 1990’s, Lauwereys also operates a tree felling and pruning business. Its rental fleet includes scissor lifts, articulated booms, spider lifts and truck mounts, the company has been buying GSR truck mounts since 2009.

The company will sell the full GSR product line, while offering technical support for new and existing GSR machines across the country.

For the first deliveries, Lauwereys opted for the 22 metre B220TJ which has a four section telescopic boom with a 2.75 metre articulating jib and end mounted platform. It offers up to 14 metres of outreach with 80kg in the platform, or 10.6 metres with the maximum 250kg platform capacity. The unit can also reach almost three metres below ground level thanks to its long jib. Overall travel length is 7.73 metres.
