The unit has an overall width of 800mm - extending to 1.1 metres on site and a stowed height of 1.99 metres, power options include a Honda petrol, Kubota diesel, or a 230V/2.2kW electric motor. The overall weight is 2,860kg.

Reitinger managing director Reinhard Hofer said: “Imer made it very clear that they want to be our supplier, and the machines themselves had already impressed us. When we learnt that Bernhard Kahn - whom we have known for a long time - was on board and our main service and support contact would be in the German language, it was an easy decision to go with Imer.”

Assistant technical director Jochen Schneider, added: “From our very first encounter with the new R20 DA we were impressed by Imer's technical execution and by how easy and intuitive the machines are to operate. Our customers from the first rental deployments are already confirming this.”

Founded in 1938 Reitinger entered the powered access market in 1985, followed by mobile cranes in 2001, initially from its St.Florian headquarters facility near Linz. Forklifts and telehandlers came the following year, while mobile crane rental was expanded to its other locations in 2006. Today the company operates from six locations across North and eastern Austria with a fleet of All Terrain cranes to 130 tonnes, plus spider cranes, mini crawlers, mobile self-erecting tower cranes and large loader cranes. Platforms include booms, scissors, spider lifts, truck mounts and underbridge inspection units.
