Finnish aerial work platform manufacturer Leguan Lifts has reported 50 percent revenue growth for its 2024/2025 fiscal year. Sales of new aerial work platforms totalled €22.5 million, compared to almost €15 million last year.
It added that the growth has come from an increasingly wide geographic area, with sales in markets such as the UK, Belgium, Germany, and Austria having doubled compared to last year. The US market has also performed "very well", growing by more than 50 percent, year on year.
The company went on to say: "A key driver behind this success has been the strong effort of our distributors in organising demonstrations. The markets have never seen such advanced lifts before and are not familiar with our redefined spider lift concept, as everyone expects every spider lift follows the Italian standard. For this reason, in the iron demos and hands-on experience with the machines have been essential for achieving this growth."
The company has also shipped its 1,000th Leguan 190 series wheeled spider lift, with much of its growth coming from sales to tree care companies, coupled with its investment in more production facilities, and the introduction of new models in its tracked ‘All Terrain Series’.
Leguan's All Terrain series
Sales & marketing vice president Jori Mylläri added: “We have always believed that growth comes from truly understanding how our customers work and what challenges they face. The new All Terrain Series is the result of years of listening, testing, and refining. We redefined what a spider lift can be. By focusing on ease of use, shared controls across all models, and minimising downtime, we have given both operators and rental companies a reason to choose Leguan. It’s rewarding to see how this approach has directly fuelled our growth.”
