The three axle GMK3050-3 features a five section 40 metre main boom topped by an eight metre swingaway extension with 40 degrees of offset and either manual or hydraulic offset/luffing, for a maximum tip height of 51 metres. The unit is also equipped with the Grove Connect telematics system, which provides real time performance data, utilisation analytics and predictive maintenance tools.

Mann Crane Hire owner Chris Barnes said: “Our positive experience with the GMK3060L-1 made this an easy decision. The GMK3050-3 enhances our flexibility in urban environments and fills an important gap between 40 and 60 tonnes.”

Manitowoc UK sales manager James Leishman, added: “The GMK3050-3 is purpose-built for the realities of UK jobsites: tight spaces, frequent relocations, and the need for strong performance in taxi configuration. We're delighted to continue our successful partnership with Mann Crane Hire by adding this compact 50 tonner to their fleet.”

Established 37 years ago, Mann Crane Hire is a family business providing lifting services across the Isle of Man, located between England and Ireland. It runs a fleet of All Terrains ranging from 40 to 70 tonnes.
