German rental company HKL Baumaschinen has acquired Aicheler Baumaschinen Service in Herrenberg, Baden-Württemberg, which it will now operate as HKL Centre Herrenberg.
Aicheler Baumaschinen was founded in 1987 to sell and service tractors and has grown to operate from two locations - Stockach and Herrenberg with a team of 25 employees, all of whom will remain on board under the new owners. The company runs a rental fleet of 170 machines, while having an inventory of 160 new and 135 used machines ready to sell. HKL points out that a key motive of the deal is to strengthen its network/coverage in Baden-Württemberg.
HKL branch manager Stuttgart Andreas Schilling said: “With the new centre in Herrenberg, we are expanding our presence in Baden-Württemberg in a targeted manner. Proximity to our customers is crucial for us - it forms the basis for partnership, practical solutions and sustainable success.”
Founded in 1970, HKL Baumaschinen operates from 180 centres in Germany, Poland and Austria with a combined equipment fleet of around 160,000 units.
