UK based Emsley crane hire has taken delivery of a new 13 tonne Kato CR-130Rv city type All Terrain crane
Kato completed an extensive design upgrade of the CR-130 in 2023, it features a six section 24 metre boom topped by a 3.6 to 5.5 metre hydraulic luffing jib, offsettable by 60 degrees for a maximum tip height of just under 32 metres. A three tonne searcher hook is also standard equipment.
The crane’s overall length on the road is just under 7.5 metres, with an overall width of 1.99 metres and an overall height of 2.87 metres. Total weight is only 13.83 tonnes, split roughly evenly between the two axles. The new crane was supplied through UK/Ireland distributor Rivertek Services.
Rivertek operations manager Ivan Bolster said: “Emsley Crane Hire has run Kato Cranes in its fleet for decades, and we would like to thank John Emsley and the Emsley Team for choosing Kato once again.”
Established in 1947, family owned Emsley is managed by John and Peter, the sons of founder Joe Emsley. The company runs a fleet of All Terrain, truck, city type and mobile self-erecting tower cranes from depots in Harrogate and Doncaster.
