A regional management consultancy, KR8 Advisory, is punting 13 HSS depots to anyone who might be interested in them, using various means to promote it, including social media.
We assume, but do not have confirmation, that the 13 locations are among the 130 depots that Endless private equity was paid to take over. Expressions of interest should be in by next Wednesday, December 3rd. Interested? Then send an email to [email protected].
Jon Overman, the chief executive of HSS Hire Service, said: “As many of you will know, we are in a period of restructuring our business. We are working with KR8 Advisory on this process and have lots of interest so far.”
“We have some great kitted out hire depots and teams. The document below contains details of sites and teams and could be a super edition to your business.”
“KR8 Advisory is pleased to be bringing to market a unique opportunity arising from the recent carve out of HSS into The Hire Service Company, a select portfolio of fully fitted, ready-to-operate depot sites across the UK. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss anything with the team.”
Vertikal Comment
You really could not make it up! The initial transaction was complex and unorthodox from the start, and now this unusual move. It will be interesting to see how it pans out. So far, it seems that competitors are mostly interested in picking up experienced staff from these locations.
