UK rental company Clearview Services has taken delivery of a Böcker AK48 48 metre truck mounted work platform/ six tonne truck crane.
The new unit
The AK 48 - launched at Bauma 2022 - features a four section main boom plus a three section telescopic jib for a tip height of 49 metres with a maximum radius of 40 metres. It can handle its maximum capacity of six tonnes at eight metres and 1.5 tonnes at a height of 27.5 metres and a radius of 24 metres. When used as a work platform, it offers a maximum platform capacity of 350kg, with a 48 metre working height.
Managing director Jonathan Hawksworth said: “This addition significantly increases our capability for elevated access, telecoms lifting, rooftop works, and restricted access hoisting. Thanks to Böcker UK for the professional handover and comprehensive setup.”
Based in Leeds, Clearview Services offers a range of facilities, property maintenance and cleaning services throughout the UK as well as a traffic management service. Its access fleet includes truck mounted lifts from 21 to 104 metres.
