100th Franna in Indonesia

Contractor PT Vector Indonesia has taken delivery of the 100th 25 tonne Terex Franna Mac 25 articulated pick & carry crane in the country.

The crane - the third one to join the company’s fleet was supplied through local distributor PT Berlian Cranserco. It features an 18 metre four section boom and a short three metre jib for a maximum tip height of 21.5 metres. Overall weight is just under 24 tonnes. Key features include the Dynamic load moment indicator with real time load monitoring.

Franna, general manager Danny Black said: “This milestone highlights the strength of our partnership with Cranserco and the trust customers like Vector place in Franna cranes. We are committed to supporting Indonesia’s growing infrastructure needs with safe, versatile, and reliable solutions.”

Vector Indonesia's Matt Peeler added: “Our business involves both steel fabrication in a workshop environment, and on site construction activities. The Franna cranes are extremely useful for moving heavy components around the work area and are used as cranes to assist with structure erection. The Franna 25 tonne is particularly helpful in parallel with our mobile cranes, assisting with loading and unloading of counterweights, holding structure sections during pre-assembly and assisting with tandem lifts.”

PT Vector Indonesia is part of the Canadian pre-cast concrete corrosion protection company Vector Corrosion Technologies and has been operating in Indonesia since 2010.
