Australian rental company Pacific Hire has taken delivery of a 66ft JLG 660SJ tracked boom lift, which we are told is the first to arrive in the country.
The new boom lift arrives on site
The 660SJ provides an outreach of 17.4 metres with an unrestricted capacity of 249kg, while it can take its maximum platform capacity of 340kg to 15.3 metres.
Pacific Hire said: “With the tracks, this unit has reduced sway, better grip and traction, and smoother operations on uneven ground. This unit is ideal for construction, maintenance, and industrial jobs which require a high reach, long outreach, and the ability to operate in difficult terrains.”
Founded in Myrtleford in 1979 by Roland Carlassare, Pacific Hire is now led by second generation Raimond and Deanne Carlassare. The company has grown to serve Victoria’s northern region, southern NSW, and South Australia, with offices in Wangaratta, Somerton, and Adelaide.
