Leguan moves into NZ

Finnish aerial work platform manufacturer Leguan Lifts has appointed New Zealand rental company Avant Equipment NZ as an official distributor.

With warehouses in Auckland and Christchurch, Avant Equipment NZ – formerly Glenbrook Machinery – was initially established to be the exclusive importer of Avant Tecno loaders used by landscapers and drain layers. The Leguan spider lifts are the company’s first move into aerial work platforms.

Leguan’s vice president of sales and marketing Jori Mylläri said: “Our lifts are developed in close cooperation with international customers to ensure every detail supports real world performance. This results in spider lifts that help professionals complete projects faster, with less downtime and higher efficiency.”

National sales manager of Avant Equipment NZ, Phil Pinker added: “Leguan lifts are a perfect addition to our product portfolio. Being part of the Avant Tecno group, the same manufacturer behind the Avant loaders that have been so successful in New Zealand, we know customers can expect the same world class Finnish quality and reliability.”
