UK rental company Access Plus has taken delivery of four new Sinoboom platforms from local dealer Lolex, they include two scissor lifts - the electric 19ft 1932ME and the 27ft 2746E - as well as two articulated boom lifts, the 46ft AB460EJ and the 48ft AB480J Plus.
The 1932ME is a classic 19ft mini scissor lift, offering a working height of 7.8 metres, a platform capacity of 230kg, an overall width of 810mm, with a standard 900mm roll out deck extension, direct electric wheel motor drive, and a maintenance free battery pack. The 2746E provides a maximum working height of 9.9 metres, with an overall length of 2.3 metres, overall width of 1.15 metres, and a stowed height of 1.1 metres, while weighing 2,715kg.

The AB460EJ (AB14EJ) and the upgraded AB480J Plus (AB15J) provide working heights of 16 metres and 16.7 metres respectively, with the AB460EJ offering an outreach of 7.6 metres, an up and over height of 7.8 metres, and an unrestricted platform capacity of 230kg, while the AB480J Plus delivers a maximum outreach of 8.5 metres at an up and over height of 7.5 metres and a maximum unrestricted platform capacity of 300kg. The AB460EJ measures 1.73 metres in overall width and weighs 7,100kg, whereas the AB480J Plus is 2.26 metres wide and weighs 7,300kg.
Established in 1998 and based in Irvine, Access Plus was acquired by Briggs in 2022. It operates a fleet of around 700 aerial work platforms, including booms, scissor lifts, truck mounts, spider lifts, van mounted platforms, and telehandlers. It is also a member of the Access Alliance, a network of independent regional rental companies offering nationwide coverage.
