50t Liebherr for County

UK rental company County Lifting Services has taken delivery of a 50 tonne Liebherr LTC 1050-3.1 city type All Terrain crane that it has named ‘Lily Grace’.

The three axle single cab LTC 1050-3.1 features a six section 36 metre main boom and can be equipped with a 7.5 to 13 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of almost 52 metres, although County took its unit with the 1.5 metre Assembly jib, which can offset by up to 60 degrees and provides a tip height of 40 metres. It can handle up to 25 tonnes and the sheaves can be replaced with an integral hook for low headroom work.

The crane is equipped with full remote controls for all superstructure functions, Stage V diesel and Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger system. The cab not only retracts from the chassis to the superstructure but also can elevate to an operator's eyeball height of over 7.8 metres for views over obstacles.

County Lifting said: “Presenting Lily Grace, our new LTC 1050-3.1. Thank you to Liebherr for the phenomenal service and for ensuring that it looks the part!”
