VTX-240 G3 for Scheurer Arbeitsbühnen

German rental company Scheurer Arbeitsbühnen has taken delivery of a 24 metre Versalift VTX-240 G3 truck mounted platform.

The VTX-240 G3 features a three section telescopic riser/lower boom that elevates to the vertical, topped by a three section telescopic boom and end mounted platform with variable outrigger set up, a maximum working height of 24.2 meres and maximum outreach of 12.5 metres at an up and over height of 11.5 metres with a platform capacity of 220kg. As the third generation of the VTX240, the latest developments include a digital display within the cab to assist with set-up, longer outrigger jacks allowing it to level on slopes of up to six degrees and changes to the control valves to aid the emergency descent operation.

Based in Göppingen, southern Germany, Scheurer’s fleet consists of boom, scissor, spider and trailer lifts, as well as truck mounted platforms and telehandlers from manufacturers such as Ruthmann, Multitel, Palfinger, JLG, Genie, Bravi, Merlo, Haulotte and Hinowa. It is also a member of the System Lift association of independent rental companies.
