What will 2026 bring?

Last year flashed by in a jiffy and is now in the rearview mirror. And what a year it was! Not one that I would care to see repeated, but it is important to focus on some of the many things that went well or brought us joy.

Although some years can seem to be a significant challenge, few lack any notable highlights, it’s just a matter of recognising them when they occur. It's funny how, looking back a decade or so down the road, we often forget the bad times or the impact they had is dulled. Meanwhile, the good times tend to stay with us and are often recalled through ‘rose-tinted’ glasses.
How do you think 2026 will go?
The global economy remains highly uncertain, and you never know what surprise the morning news might bring. As always, there will be challenges and opportunities. Grabbing those opportunities and dodging the bullets is, as always, the way ahead in these tricky times.
Whether it’s your business or your job, excellent products and services, combined with honesty, fair dealing and civility, almost always pay dividends through good times and bad. As does ensuring potential customers are familiar with your brand and what you offer, of course.
