Italian spider lift manufacturer Palazzani has signed, what it refers to as a "strategic partnership agreement" with SNM Lift, providing it with the exclusive distribution rights for its products in France and its overseas departments and territories.
SNM Lift will offer Palazzani’s full spider lift range, from the new 16 metre TZJ 160 articulated models to the 52 metre XTJ 52+2 telescopic, as well as provide after sales service, parts and training support for both new and existing Palazzani machines in France.
SNM is based in Vigneux-de-Bretagne on the north side of Nantes, with a second facility in Belleville sur Saône near Lyons, with mobile service teams in Bordeaux, Paris and Rouen/Le Havre. The company was established in 1981 and was appointed as a Terex crane dealer for the west of France the following year. In 2010 the company was acquired by Vincent Galzin and the current owner and chief executive Régis Morin. The SNM Lift subsidiary was set up in 2013.
The company now operates through three main sales and service divisions, Cranes, Port handling equipment and SNM Lift - aerial lift sales. Other product lines covered by SNM include Genie aerial work platforms, Unic spider cranes, Terex tower and Rough Terrain cranes and Sany All Terrain and crawler cranes. In 2021, Morin bought out Galzin's share in the business to become the company's sole owner.
SNMLift sales manager Fabien Tuduri said: “Becoming the official Palazzani importer fully aligns with the continuity of our import strategy, allowing us to offer our customers a complete range of products and services from leading brands that are perfectly complementary to our current portfolio”.
