Italian recycling company Calabra Maceri e Servizi has taken delivery of a Dieci Apollo-e 26.6 battery electric telehandler.

Launched in 2023, the Apollo-e 26.6 has a maximum capacity of 2.6 tonnes, a lifting height of 5.73 metres, a maximum horizontal reach of 3.2 metres, maximum speed is 30kph/18.6 mph and overall weight is 5.1 tonnes.

Calabra Maceri said: "Switching to electric equipment supports both regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, with lower maintenance needs and compatibility with on-site photovoltaic energy systems."
Calabra Maceri e Servizi is based in Rende, Calabria, towards the 'toe of Italy'. The company focuses on environmental sustainability, providing a range of services to both commercial and residential clients, including waste collection, recycling, and support for differentiated waste collection.
